“Empowering Voices, Transforming Futures”
As the Program Quality Director of District 127, I am honored to serve and support our members in their pursuit of excellence in communication and leadership. With a decade of experience in Toastmasters, I bring with me a passion for learning, a commitment to quality, and a heart set on service.
This year, our focus is on building a culture of engagement, innovation, and continuous growth through impactful training programs, dynamic speech contests, and strong mentoring initiatives. My vision aligns with our district’s tagline:
“One Family. Many Voices. One Vision.”
Rooted in our district ethos, we are committed to creating a dynamic culture of leadership, learning, and impact. Every training, every event, and every initiative is designed to elevate our members and clubs toward their highest potential.
Together with a passionate and empowered PQD team, we are focused on five key pillars:
1. Listening Before Leading: Member-Driven, In-Person Comprehensive Training & Education
True leadership begins with listening.
That’s why our year’s roadmap begins with you. Through a district-wide learning survey open to all members, we’re co-creating a full-year calendar of training and education tailored to your real needs.
Whether you’re an experienced member or a new, our goal is to deliver impactful sessions that spark real transformation.
What to Expect:
- In-Person Club Officer Training (COT)
- Masterclasses on Advanced Topics
- Judges & Contest Trainings
- Parliamentary Procedure Workshops
- Pathways & DCP Deep-Dives
- Leadership Conclaves
- High-Impact Speaker Series
We will also strive, based on member demand, to offer select workshops and contests online, ensuring everyone is included in shaping District 127 into one of the best-performing districts in the world.
2. Revitalized Mentoring Plan for Empowered Growth
We proudly introduce a flagship initiative:
The “Pathways Mentor Program Spotlight”
Through this district-wide mentoring campaign, and under the guidance of a dedicated committee, we aim to:
- Empower members to complete the official Pathways Mentor Program
- Build a thriving pool of trained mentors and future leaders
- Foster a deep-rooted mentoring culture for personal and club-level success
This is more than mentorship, it’s about building a self-sustaining ecosystem of empowered members.
3. Support for DTAC 2026
Elevating Excellence
PQ is committed to supporting the DTAC 2026 team in delivering a landmark conference that is:
- Fun, interactive, and engaging
- Deeply enriching and aligned with TI values
- A celebration of learning, leadership, and legacy
DTAC will be the pinnacle of our collective journey, a space for connection, celebration, and community.
4. Commitment to Continuous Improvement
We believe in raising the bar beyond ticking boxes.
This means:
- Driving club excellence through close collaboration
- Recognizing and celebrating member and club progress
- Cultivating a growth mindset across all levels
This is not just about fulfilling roles, it’s about leaving behind a legacy of transformation and connection.
5. Fostering a Culture of Inclusivity and Belonging
Toastmasters is for everyone.
This year, we are committed to creating a space where every voice matters, every culture is celebrated, and every member feels heard, seen, and valued.
Through inclusive practices, diverse educational offerings, and member-led initiatives, we’re shaping a Toastmasters culture that reflects the strength in our differences and unity in our mission.
A Personal Note to Every Member
To every Toastmaster in District 127:
This year is yours.
Step into your potential. Embrace new opportunities.
Be a mentor, a learner, a leader, a communicator, and most of all, be heard.
Let’s raise the bar together, one voice, one story, one Toastmasters moment at a time.
Warm regards,
Shakeel Anwar Chaudhry, DTM
