As Club Growth Director (CGD) of District -127, I envision my role as a facilitator and empowering leader, leveraging my years of experience as a Toastmaster. Having worked with various clubs, areas, and divisions, I have honed my leadership skills and now aspire to extend my impact to the district level. My primary focus is on empowering leaders, fostering growth, and achieving success for both the district and its members.
To accomplish this, I have developed a comprehensive plan that encompasses different aspects of Toastmasters:
Existing Clubs: I aim to work closely with clubs, areas, and divisions to identify specific challenges they face and provide practical solutions. By designating and guiding club coaches and mentors, I can help build a strong support system within clubs. Additionally, I will motivate inactive members to take up leadership roles and responsibilities, while encouraging their progress in the communication journey to enhance their sense of belonging. Furthermore, I will emphasize the importance of assigning and sharing responsibilities to create a more cohesive and efficient club environment.
Innovations: I believe in the power of sharing experiences and best practices among clubs. I will encourage the "each one help one" mantra to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster collaboration. Embracing innovation and young minds, I will actively seek out ideas to attract vibrant new members to the clubs. I will support the use of technology and advocate for paperless concepts. Moreover, I will explore the potential of leveraging Artificial Intelligence to enhance the Toastmasters experience.
New Clubs & Marketing Plan: Building a strong and experienced team will be essential in supporting innovative plans and ideas. I will identify potential markets and organize Open Houses and Campaigns to attract new members. Highlighting the advantages and cost-effectiveness of Toastmasters to businesses and communities will be a priority. By working closely with the Public Relationship Manager, I will utilize technology and innovative digital marketing strategies to expand our reach. Additionally, I will actively promote and establish new member-building programs to create sustainable clubs.
Overall, my goal is to lead the district towards the highest recognition, Smedley Distinguished District, with the support of the district team. I am committed to promoting communication and leadership, facilitating growth in every member, and fostering innovation within each club. With a combination of digital and human touch, I believe we can create a thriving Toastmasters community in District -127.
In this journey, I seek the support of the Toastmasters community. Together, let's walk hand in hand towards a future of dynamic communication, leadership, and growth.
